Cocoview Dive Resort
March 30-April 6, 2013
We’re off to one of the Caribbeans most popular destinations! Join us this Spring as we journey to Honduras famous Bay Islands. One of several inhabited islands, Roatan is famous for its phenomenal diving. And Cocoview Resort has played an integral part in the continued popularity of this tropical destination.
Imagine waking up to the blue Caribbean crashing over a plateau of coral reef so lush and close that you can lean over and reach it from your porch. It has often been called a liveaboard without the boat. There is even a 140ft. tanker, The Prince Albert that is right in their front yard. That is CoCo View: Roatans award winning dedicated dive and snorkel resort. Unlimited scuba diving 24 hours a day, all meals, free use of snorkel gear, 50 ft dive boats and a PADI 5 Star dive shop on site. All 26 air-conditioned rooms have a private porch or balcony overlooking the sea. And with its unique just-off-the-beaten-path location and laid-back ambiance, CoCo View boasts one of the highest repeat guest rates in the Caribbean.
And as if the resort weren’t reason enough to go, you’re in for some spectacular diving! You will be diving on the second largest barrier reef system in the world. It is healthy and extensive, giving the Bay Islands something for divers of all skill and experience levels. The shallow inshore reef begins a few kicks from the dock and gives way quickly to coral valleys and mini-walls ranging from 80 feet to 300 feet. More advanced divers are drawn to the spectacular canyons and exhilarating drop-offs where the islands continental shelf ends.
Several major US airlines fly to Roatan. Current R/T airfare on Delta is c. $700
